2 AMENDMENT NO. ______. Amend Senate Bill 2234 on page 5, 
3line 17, after "State", by inserting "; or a subsidiary or 
4affiliate of such an organization"; and


5on page 6, immediately below line 13, by inserting the 
6following:
7  "(8) A purchase-money obligation as defined in Section 
8 9-103 of the Uniform Commercial Code.
9  (9) A commercial financing product offered by a person 
10 in connection with the sale or lease of products or 
11 services that the person manufactures, licenses, or 
12 distributes or whose parent company or any of the parent 
13 company's directly or indirectly owned and controlled 
14 subsidiaries manufactures, licenses, or distributes."; and
